The Last of Us Part 1 has been completely rebuilt from the ground up for the Playstation 5 to take advantage of the console’s hardware. A remastered version was then released a year later on PlayStation 4.ĭespite the next-gen technology of the PS4 at the time, it still wasn’t what Naughty Dog had originally envisioned for the game. The Last of Us first released for PlayStation 3 back in 2013.
That’s quite a bit to spend for a game that many of us have already played once, or maybe twice before. Unfortunately, it comes with the hefty current-gen price tag of $70. The Last of Us Part 1, a remake of Naughty Dog’s critically-acclaimed post-apocalyptic adventure, is out today on PlayStation 5.
